Program Summary

Students earn upper division credit studying Transportation Business and Management in Fresno, California, and then augment their learning with a trip to Santander, Spain, where they will visit Spanish transportation projects and businesses, meet key professionals and faculty in the field, and experience great cultural visits throughout the city and in the region.

A key element of the course is a project: students build a detailed plan to solve transportation-related problems, whether old or new.

This program includes two courses of five weeks each. For both courses, there will be three weeks of face-to-face classes prior to traveling to Spain for two weeks. Face-to-face classes will start just after the Spring 24 semester finishes.

  • ENGR 191T or MKTG 189T: Transportation Business (3 units)
  • ENGR 191T or BA 189T: Transportation Projects: Management and Contracting Strategies (3 units)
