We can’t wait to welcome you to Paris! We know you’re excited to get out and start exploring, but at the end of long days, you’ll want a cozy place to study, socialize, rest, and relax.
API’s housing options have been curated with you in mind. We offer housing that has been Visited & Verified™ by API, with a focus on student comfort, safety, and location. Check out all available housing options below and use the form to make your selection.
*Note: Independent housing requests require a separate waiver signed by no later then the program’s application deadline.

Enjoy apartment life, but with an added level of comfort. While all apartments in a historic city like Paris are unique, expect elevated amenities, modern design, increased privacy, or a killer location. Study and relax in your shared or private room, cook your own meals in your modern kitchen, and unwind with your roommates in thoughtfully designed common spaces.
Share a bedroom or opt for a bit more privacy in a single room (for an upgrade fee), among 1-6 roommates. Though you will live with other students, your neighbors will likely be locals.
This option requires an additional charge. Specific amounts by room and session are below. Note that internships are 2 sessions:
- 1 Session: $500 shared room, $695 private room
- 2 Sessions: $994 shared room, $1,384 private room

Enhance your language skills and create unforgettable memories; savor meals around the kitchen table, celebrate cultural traditions, and truly become a part of the local community. You’ll stay in a private room and enjoy regular cleaning, laundry, and some meals, allowing you to enjoy the warmth and comfort of typical French life. All homes are in central locations with an easy commute to campus,
