Program Summary
Baker is partnering with API, an established experiential education provider, to offer this program in Argentina. While abroad, students will be immersed in the local health care system by speaking with local health care professionals and shadowing in local hospitals.
Students will also experience Argentina at its best starting with an excursions to Buenos Aires, followed by day trips to the Lavalle Desert, Familia Zuccardi Winery & Olive Oil Facility, and more!

Housing:
- Buenos Aires: Students will stay in shared hotel rooms with internet, linens, and towels included
- Mendoza: Students will stay with host families with internet, linens, towels, and weekly cleaning included

- Buenos Aires: Daily breakfast included at the hotel
- Mendoza: Breakfast plus one other meal per day included

Healthcare Learning Opportunities
Below is a list of sample list of healthcare learning opportunities that may be offered:
Mendoza:
- Meeting/lecture with Ministry of Health official
- Visit to CONIN Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to ending child malnutrition
- Visit to local children’s hospital (Notti) & deliver Three Kings Day presents/toys (pending)
- 8 hospital shadowing days at either Hospital Central or Hospital Universitario
- During the day trip to Lavalle Desert, students will learn about some traditional uses of herbs for medicinal purposes
