API’s housing options have been curated with you in mind. We offer housing that has been Visited & Verified™ by API, with a focus on student comfort, safety, and location. Check out all available housing options below and use the form to make your selection.
*Note: Independent housing requests require a separate waiver signed by no later then the program’s application deadline.

Live like a local in a Comfort Apartment in central Barcelona. Study and relax in your shared or private room, cook your own meals in your shared kitchen, and unwind with your roommates in thoughtfully designed common spaces. While all apartments in a historic city like Barcelona are unique, expect elevated amenities, modern design, or a killer location.
Share a bedroom or opt for a bit more privacy in a private room (for an additional fee). Though you will live with other students, your neighbors will be locals.
This option requires an additional charge. Specific amounts by room and session are below:
- 1 Session: $714 shared room, $1,314 private room
- 2 Sessions: $1,139 shared room, $2,099 private room
- 3 Sessions: $1,659 shared room, $3,049 private room

Comfort Room in a Student Residence

Enjoy your private room with an ensuite bathroom and study area, while experiencing a sense of community with 6-11 other students. While all the private bedrooms have doors with locks, they adjoin a shared kitchen and living area making this option great for those who want to cook their own meals and hang with a group.
This modern student-only building in central Barcelona, housing 300+ other students, is the perfect spot to study, relax, and live your best life! You’ll also have access to communal study and lounge spaces throughout the building, along with a pool and deck to help you enjoy those sunny Barcelona days. With convenient public transit nearby, you’ll have easy access to your university and other neighborhoods, making it the perfect location to explore and enjoy everything the city has to offer!

Live a local in a historic apartment in central Barcelona. Expect a simple student standard of living with all the gotta-have-em-basics so you can show up and start exploring. Study and relax in your shared or private room and cook your own meals. Though you will share your apartment with other API students, the apartment will be located in a residential building.

Stay in a shared room or upgrade to a private room, and enjoy regular cleaning, laundry, and some meals. You’ll live in a residential neighborhood, allowing you to enjoy the warmth and comfort of typical Spanish life.
