We can’t wait to welcome you to Lisbon! We know you’re excited to get out and start exploring, but at the end of long days, you’ll want a cozy place to study, socialize, rest, and relax.
API’s housing options have been curated with you in mind. We offer housing that has been Visited & Verified™ by API, with a focus on student comfort, safety, and location. Check out all available housing options below and use the form to make your selection.
*Note: Independent housing requests require a separate waiver signed by no later then the program’s application deadline.

Live like a local in a modern apartment in central Lisbon. Study and relax in your shared or private room, cook your own meals in your modern kitchen, and unwind with your roommates in thoughtfully designed common spaces. While all apartments in a historic city like Lisbon are unique, expect elevated amenities, modern design, or a killer location.
Share a bedroom or opt for a bit more privacy in a private room (for an additional fee). Though you will live with other students, your neighbors will be locals.
Explore this walkable city, discover local hot spots, and travel to and from campus in the same style as locals — using Lisbon’s great public transit.
This option requires an additional charge. Specific amounts by room and session are below:
• 1 session: $359 for a shared room; $509 for a private room
• 2 sessions: $499 for a shared room; $709 for a private room

This student-only building in central Lisbon, is the perfect spot to study, relax, and live your best life! You’ll have your own ensuite bathroom, study space, and in-unit air conditioning. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by students, giving you the opportunity to build new relationships and create lifelong memories. With convenient public transit nearby, you’ll have easy access to your university and other neighborhoods, making it the perfect location to explore and enjoy everything the city has to offer!
A private studio is included in the program fee.
