Program Summary

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the International Programs Office, in partnership with API, are excited to offer Nursing majors with a sophomore standing an opportunity to study abroad during the 2024 Fall semester in Seville, Spain.

Students will be required to take two UMass Dartmouth courses taught by Universidad de Sevilla faculty:

  • Lifespan Development and Health Promotion
  • Concepts of Scholarship in Nursing

Students will select 2-3 additional courses  that will fulfill University Studies and/or other graduation requirements. Students should consult with the College of Nursing on the selection of these courses.

This program allows for students to take courses in Spain prior to beginning their clinical courses, so they can study abroad and stay on track to graduate in four years… Students will discover new possibilities in the nursing major and the perspective needed to make a bigger impact in the nursing profession and the people it serves.
