Course: CM 210 Ireland in Image and Text (3 credits)

Program Summary

This course and short-term study abroad trip will explore Ireland and Irish culture through nonfiction writing, literature, journalism, film, and photography. Students will learn to use writing, photography, and videography to document and explore “place” throughout the course.

Students will travel to Ireland for one week during the semester. During the trip we will travel to sites such as the Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, and the Derry walls. We will collaborate with students and faculty at Irish universities during the course and visit the universities while abroad.

  • Students must complete a study abroad application through our International Programs Office at Worcester State University
